I stand in awe
May my prayer like incense rise before you...
I stand in awe of who you are. I stand in awe of what you’ve done. I praise You’re name Lord Jesus the great and Holy one.
I have no words to say; you take my breath away. I stand in awe of what you’ve done and who you are, and what’s to come.
I stand in awe of your grace that you don’t give us what we deserve. You sent your Son to die for us and raised Him from the dead. The grave no longer has power; death has lost its sting. I now live for the glory of the great and risen King
I stand in awe, but now I bow humbled by your love. You have a plan and the ending has been told, the battle is already won. You have invited us into your story Lord, to be a part of your Kingdom plan. The things you call me to do, I can only do by your hand.
The desires you have placed within me I cannot make come to be. Your timing is perfect, your way is best. You say in love “wait upon me.”
I kneel in awe and come in reverence before your throne Lord Jesus. Make your way clear and help us walk by faith, knowing that you know the way. You are my Light and I trust in you, help me when I cannot see. You are unchanging; your love will always be, even in the dark Lord Jesus, I know you see me. I cannot escape your love, your are unceasing in your pursuit; I thank you for your persistence and power to pull me from my pits. You are the Light that guides me and shows where to place my feet.
You patience is astounding, your presence I can’t get enough, your glory is immeasurable , your peace none can describe, your grace is never ending, and your mercy comes with the sunrise, your love none can fathom, you power none compares, you are unshakeable God, glory to your name. There is no other like you, there is no other name, none but Jesus!
You saw us in our pits of sin and gave us feet to dance. You pulled us from the crowd that stands and showed us how to dance. Where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. In your presence I am made new; not by anything I have done, it is all because of You.
Give me an undivided heart O God, and draw closer still. You are my Rock and Salvation, when I look to you I find my security there. You tell me who I am, and give me strength when I have none. You are always worthy of all the praise no matter the time or place. No matter the circumstance I find myself I still need to fall upon my face.
Sometimes the dark can make us forget that you are still on the thrown. You have not forgotten, we are never alone. Forgive us God for when we get mad about things you’ve promised to us would come. You told us “we would have trouble, but take heart for I have overcome.” Lord Jesus turn your eyes upon us, for there is mercy in your sight
O Lord I stand in awe of how great and mighty You are. Your way is narrow but your burden light! I stand in awe, I kneel in awe, I cry in awe, I dance in awe, I rejoice in awe, I praise in awe, help me be a child in awe of You!
Be still my anxious urge toward rebellin, bind my wandering heart to thee. Oh God you are my God, I will ever praise You. Oh God you are my God and I will ever praise You. I will seek you in the morning, and I will learn to walk in your ways, and step by step you'll lead me, and I will follow you all of my days!
